ALLEX Program Offerings for Universities

1)  Teaching Associate Program / Teaching Fellow Program
The Teaching Associate Program in Chinese and Japanese enables post-secondary institutions to begin or maintain a high quality Chinese or Japanese language program by providing them with professionally trained, native Chinese and Japanese instructors who teach in exchange for tuition waivers to pursue a master’s, associate’s or second bachelor’s degree.

2) ALLEX Chinese and Japanese Teacher Training Institute
The ALLEX Chinese and Japanese Teacher Training Institute is an intensive course for current teachers of Chinese and Japanese or those who plan to enter the field. The program provides the foundation for a future instructor to teach Chinese or Japanese and gives substantial tools to current teachers to reinforce and strengthen their programs. Taught by America’s foremost experts in Asian language pedagogy and performance based teaching, the eight-week sixteen credit course is widely regarded as one of the nation’s most important training centers.
